Zip Feed end loading blanket feeder option enables one person to load larger blankets into the Aviator, an ironer, or other folders in less floor space than ever. A pneumatic spreading mechanism automatically centers blankets before the item is advanced to an automatic folder or ironer. Through its unique linear encoding system, either centered or -ff-centered feeding can be achieved allowing one half or one-third folds to be made at the crossfold section of the folding machine connected behind Zip Feed. Using Zip Feed, a single operator can process 400 to 500 hospital or airlines sized blankets per hour. Zip Feed can also be fed from both ends using two operators if additional production is required - up to 650 pieces per hour.
